Having been born in Hong Kong, Anton had the
chance to travel to many places that many others never get to see, and it was one of his passions to see as much of the world
as possible. He visited China and Malyasia, not to mention Australia, by the time that he was eight years old. In the summer,
he would visit his Mum's family in Siberia (about which more on another page), but he also had the opportunity to travel
to see his Dad, who spent (and continues to spend) most of his time working abroad. Trips to this part of the world included
a lot of Russia and the Caucasus (Georgia). As for Europe, he visited France, Spain, Greece and went skiing in the Alps.
As to what you can do on holiday, the list seems endless. A
little rock climbing, skiing, bit of canoeing, snorkelling..... and the odd drink into the bargain. Still, all good fun.
It is hardly surprising that with such a background Anton
has many friends from many countries and many backgrounds. His room is full of books and textbooks in different languages:
Russian, French, Mandarin and Japanese, not to mention his national costume from Georgia.
